Compost Dye

In the quiet backroads of Gianyar, among dye vats and drying racks steeped in the scent of leaves and bark, we worked alongside Hendra and Indra at their family-run studio, CV Tarum. What began as worn linen—once used in the rooms of Desa Potatohead—was given new life through their hands. Together, we reimagined these fabrics into Tote Bags, Sunglasses Pouches, Coasters, and Napkins - each with their own pattern, imbued by color, memory and intention drawn from repurposed marigold flowers used in Balinese offerings and daily decorations around the Desa.
