Broken Glassware

Artisanal Glassware products are hand-blown by the skilled glass blowers at Cahaya Lestari - another family run business tucked in the suburban backstreets of Blahbatuh in Gianyar. Pak Made and his team - masters of their crafts - delicately sift through broken glass from Desa Potatohead, selecting pieces for their color, clarity and character. A slow and intentional process, they melt, turn and breathe life back into glass that was once unusable. The result is smooth glassware pieces - infused with pigments and swirls of color as if captured in water.
